Taylor Wimpey has submitted The former Wisley Airfield hybrid planning application to Guildford Borough Council under the application number 22/P/01175. The application includes up to 1,730 homes, community facilities, and sustainable travel infrastructure which has been curated through the feedback generated from the local community throughout the four chapters of engagement.

I support the former Wisley Airfield hybrid planning application because:

The former Wisley Airfield will provide more than 1,700 new homes for families, first time buyers and 100 specialist homes for older people

40% of homes will be provided by our affordable housing partner Vivid Homes

Shops and services will be provided for residents and visitors, including a health facility

New school facilities will be provided for the residents and local neighbours

There will be a huge parkland for the whole community to enjoy which is bigger than Stoke Park

Environmental improvements are to increase wildlife on site by 20%

Sustainable travel infrastructure will be implemented, including new cycle routes and bus services linking local residents to key train stations
